‘Peace and Quiet’ is our first major release for Which Wolf Wins Records. These songs tell the story of their time in Plymouth. Daniel’s lyrics focus on a mix of emotional themes such as loss, love, belonging and uncertainty but always manage to find an optimistic slant. The music is accordingly a mixture of the deep emotional honesty of early Bright Eyes with an upbeat and playful tone that echoes a young Simon & Garfunkel breaking through. The release marks the end of an exciting chapter for Broken Boat and more importantly, the start of a new one.
